astor Donald Thompson graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI,
in 1977. Prior to serving at Shepherd of the Palms in Jupiter, he served
congregations in Fort Wayne, IN; Crown Point, IN; and Port Washington, WI.
During that time has also served as a teacher for four years at Kettle Moraine
Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI. While pastoring and teaching, he has also
served in numerous other capacities as a Circuit Pastor, Chairman of the SEW
District Board for Evangelism, and a home missionary. In addition, he currently
serves as Chairman of the Everglades Pastoral Conference, and just completed a
three-year stint as a visiting professor to Christ the King Lutheran Seminary in
Uruk Uso, Nigeria.
astor Thompson and his wife Maxine have been married for 27
years. Maxine is a registered nurse and also serves as church organist.
Their marriage has been blessed with four children, Matthew, Rebecca,
Kristin and Nathan.
