Worship service currently begins at 10:30 am every Sunday and lasts approximately
one hour, and is preceded by a Sunday School and Adult Bible Class at 9:15 am.
The congregation sings along to most if not all hymns of praise
to our Lord, which are ongoing throughout most of the service. The order of
service is outlined in the service bulletin, which is used in conjunction with
the synod hymnal and Bible.
On the first
and third Sundays of every month, we also offer communion to our members during
service. This is an important sacrament given by Jesus to offer us forgiveness,
strengthen our faith, and offer encouragement. Jesus laid out strict
commands in His Word concerning how communion should be carried out and we try to adhere to this.
Once a month following service, we have an outreach video from the synod headquarters, which is
designed to keep members in touch with the larger church body, offer ideas on how to carry
out our missions, and show where the mission dollars are being spent.
Following service,
we generally offer snacks and refreshments, and an opportunity for guests and members to engage
in conversation if they wish.
